With the school year being a combination of hybrid or distance learning, Soccer Shots wants to be a resource for parents, and a source of activity for children in a safe and convenient way!

We will be offering private fall sessions (Backyard Camps) to you and your friends to keep the kids active while hybrid/distance learning and also trying to give care givers a small break.

Starting December, we will come to your backyard for your camp once or twice a week, the choice is yours! This Private Neighborhood Camp will consist of 4 sessions at the cost of $60 per player. Each session will be 30 minutes long outside weather permitting, with a minimum of 5 players.

Choose from the following:

-Once a week, during a weekday

-Twice a week, during a weekday

If you are choosing one day a week, please send 2 options for day of the week (Weekdays). Example: Choice one is Monday, choice two is Wednesday. If you would like us to come twice a week, please send at least 3 days that would work for your camp. Example: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday all work.

Times available: 9am, 11am or 1pm

HEALTH & SAFETY ON SOCCER ISLAND

Due to Covid-19, we have been diligently working to make necessary modification to our curriculum and current operating procedures to ensure a experience on Soccer Island. You will see our coaches making adjustments to our regular routine to continue to keep safety our top priority. Additionally, all coaches will complete a mandatory health and safety course before returning to coaching

During our sessions your coach will:

• Avoid high-fives, fist bumps and unnecessary physical contact
• Wear a face covering if our state and/or local jurisdiction requires or recommends doing so
• Use rings, spots or orange cones as “home base” to keep children spread out when possible
• Request that equipment be cleaned up and put away only by the coach
• Continue to remind children the importance of keeping safe distances when practicing skills, by mentioning to “keep your distance so you don’t bump into your friends”
• Avoid the use of pinnies
• Use a modified individualized Soccer Shots cheer at the end of the session

Additionally, coaches will be sanitizing all equipment before and after each session and monitoring their temperatures daily.

We are requesting that families attending in-person sessions follow these guidelines for the health and safety of other families and coaches:

• Wash or sanitize hands before entering Soccer Island (we recommend singing the Soccer Shots song while doing so – ask your children if you need help with the words!)
• Adhere to state and/or local jurisdiction regarding face covering requirements. All adults helping to supervise the children must be wearing a face covering.
• Practice social distancing by trying to stay 6 feet away from others that do not live in your household
• (If it applies) Stay home when you are sick and keep your children home from soccer if they are sick (we’ll miss them on Soccer Island, but we want them to be healthy!)
• (If it applies) Call to reschedule if you have booked a Backyard Camp but you or anyone in your household is sick (we’ll miss them on Soccer Island, but we want everyone to be healthy including our coaches!)
• If attending a Mini session (ages 2-3), we ask that only one family member per child be present on Soccer Island

Additional Logistics

• For Backyard Camp for safety reasons, an adult, 18 years or older must stay with the child(ren) during the duration of the class
• For safety reasons, Coaches are not permitted inside the customers homes. They must remain outside at all times
• For safety reasons, Coaches are not permitted to assist with bathroom breaks. The supervising adult must be able to assist the children

Again, we are focused on the health and safety of your child. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for children to maintain activity and learning.

We will closely monitor all communication from the WHO and CDC as well as local authorities for safety updates.
